On January 10, 2020, the Canada Revenue Agency posted the Reasonable per Kilometer Allowance Rates for 2020. The 2020 rates are:
- 59¢ per kilometre for the first 5,000 kilometres driven
- 53¢ per kilometre driven after that
These rates apply as the "maximum mileage rate allowed by Canada Revenue Agency" for travel allowance for all local unions for Sheeting & Decking (Appendices A) and all local unions for sheet metal with the exception of Local Union 504 (Appendices H & I) and Local Union 30 (Appendix K). The travel allowance for Sheet Metal Appendices H, I & K remain at $0.54 per kilometre.
